Finally got around to reading*, and realizing how appropriate the sign is, behind the Tampa bench:

You're in good hands.

(A guy can dream ... )

*Not sure why it took me so long to notice the sign. :D

When I saw the Wild would be playing the Blues, I told myself it was okay since either the Wild would miraculously advance or they would at least be losing to a really good team that's sporting one of my favorite Badger alums.

But Elliott hasn't played a minute and the Wild aren't looking all that good, despite never being down in this series (yet).

We would like to thank the Winnipeg Jets for participating in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Maurice mentions postgame that 8 players dealing with significant injuries. Some with broken bones. (Per Dreger).

Feel bad for the Peg. Wanted to see them do more. And I've really grown to dislike Anaheim.

You can take the NHL franchise out of Atlanta, but you can't take the Atlanta Thrashers out of that franchise. :(

Really felt like this series was going to go seven, with the Jets winning out.

Have you watched any of the games? Up till last night the Wild looked REALLY good. They stunk it up last night (read their own press clippings or something) but otherwise have controlled play in this series - even the game they lost at St. Louis 4-1.

Beyond game 1, Dubnyk has not looked all that good.

I'd love to look terrible and still get a shutout.

C'mon, he should have at least rung up an assist or two in that third game. After all he only had to face 17 shots, why wasn't he out doing more?;)

Facing 17 shots and none anywhere close to a high percentage area doesn't mean he had a good game. The defense and the rest of the team was spectacular but he wasn't even challenged.

Did you see the shot chart from Monday?

Like I said, he should have done more! :p

Yes. And you're right. The Blues have had the better goaltending this series all things considered. I never would have guessed that going in.

That was a stupid penalty on Paquette right there. If the Wings make it 2-0 here...
