Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Back from game 1 down here south of Mason Dixon.

Maybe Jimmy wants the first goal back, but otherwise I can't really fault his play. Bishop made some pretty big stops in the other end. Drouin played like a monster tonight, nice audition for himself in an elevated role now in the playoffs.

Honestly, Tampa probably deserved to win tonight, especially with their play in the 3rd. Wings played pretty well through 40 though. Going to be a scrappy and feisty series I think.

Nah. Both teams were skating angels tonight. ;)

Apparently there is some bad blood brewing between these two teams. I haven't seen something like this start to boil up since the Blackhawks/Canucks. If two goals a game is all the Wings can muster, Jimmy (or Mrazak) need to play lights out. Mrazak isn't the answer, he's headfu**ed from the last few weeks of the season. I honestly haven't seen a goalie so shaken in years.

I'm not overly concerned about the series yet (contrary to my post a few hours back). Split in Tampa, and it's a best of five with the Wings holding home ice.

If they do get swept though, that wouldn't surprise me either, considering they found the most unlikeliest way to even make the playoffs.

Heck, just don't lose at JLA, take it to game 7 and a coin flip. Absolutely nothing to be concerned about yet, they played a pretty good road game tonight, just getting our brutal defensive play exposed at times.

I love Big Rig, but he's been turrible this season. Kronwall is starting to show some age too.
