Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

Montreal picked up Mike Brown off waivers, meaning the Sharks have to play better 4th liners.

Meanwhile, the Wild have 20 games to make the playoffs and get swept in the first round by the Chicago Blackhawks. Go Wild.

Wild's trade deadline move? Activating Jonas Brodin off of Injured Reserve. Sending Schroeder and Folin back to Iowa. Getting Porter through waivers over the weekend. Go Wild.

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

There have been 4 deadline trades today, the same amount as the NFL. Booooooooring.

Given the Wild's Cap situation and all the picks their missing from trade deadline deals that did nothing to help them it's probably better they just avoid the whole thing.

Glad they did basically nothing. Roll with current squad and make any kind of deals in the off season. Rental players have done nothing for them in the past except give up draft picks for them.

Not a jersey guy, but the Team North America jerseys are badass...

Wild now 6-3 under Torch after beating the Leafs 2-1 tonight. Now off to Buffalo for a little revenge.

FYP. Fourth one goal loss in a row by the kids, but at least the effort is there. Add Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews, get JVR and Bozak back next season -- might be hope for them yet.

BTW, my buddy in da Burgh says we can have Kessel back. Nah...pass, but thanks Lou. :D

I wonder how much truth there is in this? Given the health of the Loonie, it wouldn't surprise me were it true. I just don't think Vegas will support a franchise for very long.
George Laraque of 91.9 Radio revealed yesterday that he has heard there will be an expansion team awarded this summer by the NHL.

Unfortunately for Nordiques fans, it won't be Quebec City.

Laraque said that the league is prepared to award the city of Las Vegas, Nevada an expansion team and that the return of the Nordiques to Quebec City will have to wait.

If Edmonton wins the lottery should they trade the pick for a top 2 dman, a top 6 fwd, and the other team's #1 in 2016 and 2017?

Re: NHL 2015-16: John Scott for MVP!

What's the point of the ROW stat in the standings?

Regulation plus overtime wins doesn't make sense as a description since it's always less than team wins.
