Since the Hawks won the Cup in 2010, I have NMU losing to BGSU in the 1st round of the CCHAs twice, the Hawks with last year's Gongshow against Vancouver, and now this...

Obviously I managed to overdraw the Hockey Karma account just a bit :rolleyes:

It'll be interesting to see what the league does with Hayes and his boarding of Roszvial, who was knocked out of the game. Probably nothing.

Worth it.

I'd take a decade of missing the playoffs in exchange for a Stanley Cup.

Should be next 3 regular season games. That was not a head shot, but the kind of play that serious injuries happen on. Hope Roszival is back vs Nashville.

Oh yeah. This is a WHOLE lot easier to take since I can think back just a couple of short years to our Cup.

Still playing with house money although we'll need to make a deep run by next year or this will wear off.

Don't think Chicago was coming back from 2-0 anyway, but obviously that penalty ended all hope. Doesn't compare to a lot of the crap that's gone on in the playoffs, but the end result of a guy getting bloodied is why I've heard some people say a "bear hug" should be acceptable in those situations.

So a play serious injuries happen on would get 3 games, and Torres gets 25 games. I won't try to make sense if this. Guess the NHL doesn't care so much about potential serious injuries.

Ok, maybe THIS suspension will teach him a lesson.

Anyways, I'm just going by the previous "Rip The Refs" fine of $10K. This is soon after, he's a bit more pointed, and he's a player.

Roszival was bloodied, but I don't think anything more than that. For a first time offender, maybe a one game suspension. Maybe just a fine.
