Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

The Rangers may be willing to deal for Nash. The need for a top line scorer was exposed and I think NYR will be more apt to trade.

As long as it's not the Bruins.

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

I hope Yakupov realizes its the NHL and not the NBA Draft. That's an awful suit.

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

Jordan Staal traded to Carolina for their 2012 first round pick (#8 overall) and Brandon Sutter and Brian Dumolin.

Forsberg still on the board. does McPhee take him or a Russian??

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

And Pittsburgh just gained another $2M in cap space that they can throw at Parise...

Christ they're loaded

Comcast infuriates me. The picture quality on CNBC looks miles better than NBC Sports Net. It was very noticeable during the playoffs, and the draft continues to look miles better on CNBC than it did minutes ago on NBC Sports Net.

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

Somehow lost in the shuffle, the Caps got Mickey Ribs from the Stars for a middling prospect and Washington's 2nd rounder this year.

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

I know it's a Canadian broadcast, but it really infuriates me that they trash every kid who looks like he's going to college as making a poor choice and how they would be making a much better choice by playing somewhere else.

Re: NHL 2012: Playoffs! Part II: Boogalooing all the way to the Cup

Several of them will end up in MJ anyway. Some are just using college as leverage for trades and what not, whereas others will end up there once they're either browbeaten by a team that wants them, or their clubs tell them what to do.

Ha. it looks like the penguins are trying to land both Parise and Sutter

Dumoulin's from my hometown, I think he had a legit shot to crack Carolina's roster next year...what's his prognosis for Pittsburgh?

They just got Sutter ;)
If you mean Suter, a lot of teams are trying to land both.
Minnesota, Detroit and possibly NJ.

I meant the real Suter :)
Pens just made a pretty risky trade but I believe that they have 15M in cap space now.

There's Suter & there's Sutter. Two totally different families.
