Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

So if the Saints win on the opening drive how quickly will the NFL change the OT rules this offseason so both teams get their hands on the ball in OT?

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

How did these jokers put up 56 points? Unbelievably silly mistakes - just no concentration all the way around. If the Vikings win, I hope Favre's ankle heals in a hurry, cause the Colts' pass rush would have a field day with a gimpy 40-year-old.

Gwen Stefani needs her own level of hell for recording that farking song.

/I'd still hit it

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

He had nothing but green in front of him. He could have ran for 10-15 yards and then slid, got the timeout, kicked the FG.

He broke the cardinal rule, never throw across your body.
Like Farve ever followed that rule anyways. He's a gunslinger, he lives by the pass, and dies by the pass, or by a 330 DLineman. ;)

Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

Or........ You kick it on third down in case something goes haywire.

Don't look at me. In crunch time I have two philosophies: 1) try your best to get in the end zone but don't be reckless about it instead of playing for a field goal.

2) If you're going to be a pansy and play for the field goal, kick on third down. That way in case something awful happens, you still have a chance.

They didn't do it a couple years ago...
