Re: NFL Thread 4: The Road to Miami

What? ****. I can have whatever reasons I want to how I want to root. Not a single Trojan on the Vikings. :)

I'm just saying, given the choice in the matter, I hope the next hurricane to hit NO takes the whole city off of the planet, just so I don't have to hear about it for the next decade. I hate saying it, but jeez, crap happens all over the world, and we still get "The Saints made this city whole again" and I'm tired of it.

No, I'm not saying they deserve it, I don't want human lives lost or anything. But I mean, how often do you hear about NYC getting made whole again after 9/11, or how people have been united after Hurricane Hugo? And who even thinks about the OKC bombing anymore?

THAT'S what I'm saying.

After "We Are The World" had been #1 for umpteen weeks in a row in 85 or 86, Johnny Carson had a line like, "And later, we'll have a prominent psychologist and sociologist, who will argue that it's OK to hate hearing 'We Are The World.'" :D

He was right. It's become a punchline nowadays. :p

And that KO coverage totally bricked.

BrettFavre comeback. I'm calling it now. 2 min left, and MN wins in the final 30 seconds.
