NFL 25-26: Blame The Refs for this Thread Title

A good win for the Patriots. A little sloppy(8 penalties for 93 yards), but the clock-eating drive for the game winning field goal was classic.

Tom who?

Drake Maye set a Patriots’ organizational mark for the highest single-game completion percentage, with a minimum of 20 pass attempts. The 23-year-old connected on 21-of-23 passes (91.3 percent) for 222 yards and two touchdowns.

I had really feared that the Detroit D would have a pretty questionable game after having so many D backs get injured. But the opposite happened.

Seems like they replaced Aaron Glenn with some serious quality.

Something that we've not really talked about is seeing top draft washout QBs doing better with totally different coaches.

Darnold sucked with the Jets. Mayfield was horrible with the Browns, Jones with the Giants..... These guys had almost ended their careers with crappy coaches, and now they are playing really well. So how do their former coaches keep getting or keeping jobs?

It's because no one has any time to actually develop them. They're all older now, right?

This is why the Vikings plan for McCarthy is going to backfire.

KOC isn’t a crappy coach, at least for QBs. If McCarthy sucks in a few years it is because McCarthy sucks.

Edit: Never mind. I read that wrong. If you are calling out management’s decision to get McCarthy going so quick, then yes I agree.
