NFL 2022-23: How About A Lions vs. Jaguars Super Bowl?

I don't play slots, but I think I understand what is going on.

Experienced slot players understand that by looking at the progressive numbers that are usually blinking at the tops of the machines, you can see which machine has paid out the jackpots most recently, and which machines currently have higher jackpots. It is also readily known by regular slot players (not me) which machines have more favorable betting odds because of the number of "lines" you can bet.

However, I don't believe you can make a living off of your slot winnings. You might get a jackpot of $30,000, and thus you'll get a Form 1099 from the casino for your winnings (which you'll have to pay taxes on) but slots, even if optimally played, still have a considerable house advantage.

If you read the professional slots threads or sites that are out there, you will see that professional players essentially earn their "living" playing slots by living off of the comps given by the casinos due to their volume of play. Free rooms, food, transportation, etc...

I've also seen it published in different guide books and the like that slots in high traffic areas (near main entrances, washrooms, other attractions, etc.) tend to be fairly loose (albeit via smaller payouts) to constantly show passer-by's that people are "winning" and maybe get them to step in and donate a few bucks when they otherwise wouldn't.

I’ve had the same thoughts over the past few days. At this point, I don’t much care because the extent of my gambling is tossing in $20 to the lottery when the jackpots get huge - renting a dream for a day or two.

I share the exact same philosophy.

Decided to tune into the new Pro Bowl to see what flag football would look like. First reaction isn’t anything about the product on the field, it’s that it looks like they got at least 45k people to show up for this. Allegiant stadium looks packed minus the very tops and corners of the upper deck.

Free admission?

So how's it different than the last ten or so Pro Bowls, other than they don't have to wear pads?

Don't forget George Blanda.

So who ya got Sunday, Mahommes all the way, Phily has played no one near as good as KC.

I don't want the Eagles, so of course it will happen.

Also, Mahomes was voted MVP, but MVP hasn't won a SB since Kurt Warner in 2000, MVPs going 0-9 in it since then.

The Colts have targeted Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to be their next head coach and plan to hire him if the sides can reach agreement on a contract, sources told ESPN.
