And a dyk, the Stillers haven't won in Philly since 1965.

What?!

How many games is that?

Edit: 10

The Steelers had the better record on the season in 5 of the last 7 meetings. In two of those seasons they won the Super Bowl and in two others they made the AFC Championship Game.

And only 3 of those games have been 1 score games. Wow.

Check your children's Halloween candy tonight... some sick ******* might be handing out Detroit Lions tickets!

hardcore Lions fans are weird. Many years ago, when we still sucked, we happened to be downtown for a show, and decided to go to a Lions game. Got decent tickets, and it was packed. Of course, we sucked. And lost. But the fans didn't seem to care.

And I kind of think that's one of the core problems with the Lions. They will yell and scream at the ownership, but at the end of the day, they still buy tickets. There's almost no incentive for the Fords to spend big money.

It's a theory.

The Cubs had this problem until they won it all. Now their fans are terrible too.

I forgot to add- I also think it was a very smart move down from Pontiac to Detroit. Up there, it was a pain to get there, and there was literally nothing around the Silverdome to do anything else. Just parking and football. Downtown, there are a ton of bars and restaurants- and in spite of the perceived fear of Detroit- most people around here are really comfortable going down there. And moving there 1) adds a bunch of people who can go pretty easily and 2) reduced the number of seats to fill.

Just adds more to the fans who show up, bitch, and are still happy to pay the ticket prices. (which is good that we never have blackouts)

He'll probably be the GOP nominee for Governor next cycle. He fits the brand: crass, posturing, vicious, and incompetent.

In Maryland, right? He lives in Potomac. That's your problem. Don't foist him off on VA. They've already got to deal with Yesli and her turtle-dad.

SkyCam cable snaps during Jets-Bills game, indefinite delay while they spool up several thousand meters of cable.

The Lions suck really bad, sure. But the refs don't need to help the struggling Packers to win a game like they have- the number of completely missed holding is stunning.

Thankfully, Aaron is sucking so bad that even the refs could not help out enough to win.
