NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

Thanks for dressing up, Vince.

Wait, they did just put up a barrier so the other Patriot players can't make it up there. That's...odd.

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

For all the talk pre-game that this could be the highest scoring Super Bowl ever...

It was the lowest (16 points). Previous low was 21 points (Super Bowl VII). Patriots also set the record for the fewest points scored by a champion (13 points, previous low 14 points by Miami in Super Bowl VII). Rams tied the record for fewest points scored by a Super Bowl participant (3 points, tied with Miami in Super Bowl VI...also the only other team to fail to score a TD in a Super Bowl).

Nick Foles is still the last QB to throw a TD pass in the Super Bowl.

Speaking of, this is the first NFL game in the last 10 years that didn't have some cum sponge sideline reporter.

Hey, leave Erin Andrews out of this.

What size do those t-shirts have to be to go on over shoulder pads?

Krafty Bob sounds a little overserved

The best advice I’ve ever heard is you don’t bet. It’s like playing in options. You’re chum for the sharks.

You take the simple bets. Moneyline, spread, maybe o/u. The prop bets are for the suckers.

Is it bad that I enjoyed it? It was a good detox following a fall of Big XII football.

Downside of the result is I have to deal with the Lions fan turned Pats-fan-each-December at work acting like “his” team won because Brady went to Michigan.

Prop bets are the only fun bets. Everything else is moved by the sharks that you’re just a drop of water in their tidal waves.

Since 2014, either AL or NE won a title. AL didn't this year, so....guess what?

And Romo is gonna get a coaching job next year, now that he knows how to read defenses....

Re: NFL 2019: Superb Owl and Offseason

Hard to imagine there was a time all our sports teams were cursed, from Too Many Men, Bucky Fvuckin Dent, metal bleachers, "the ball gets through Buckner" and 1-15 to the tragic deaths of Len Bias and Reggie Lewis. Now a combined 12 championships in 17 years. On average, a Boston team has won its conference championship once per year since 2002.

Yeah, it was entertaining. I really didn't care too much who won, although it would have been nice if the Rams could have scored a TD to tie it up.

I think Kraft needs to take a break, concentrate some resources on his MLS team.
