The last few AB events my initial instinct is to point and laugh, but is pretty quickly overridden with restraint as it seems there may be significant mental issues going on. I'm no doctor, obviously, so I truly have no idea.

Yea, everything turned south when he got speared badly to his head. Can't remember the Cincy player that did it, though. From there, it's been one mental issue after another. I was hoping that this season got that straightened out, but apparently there was some boiling we were missing.

Washington has set Feb 2nd as the date to unveil their new (or same) team name and logo. They officially ruled out Wolves or Red Wolves.

So if the leaked list is to be believed, they are down to:

Red Hogs
Defenders
Armada
Presidents
Brigade
Commanders
Washington Football Team

Armada or WFT are the best options left.
 
Armada and Brigade are out for being Eurotrash single nouns.

Defenders and Commanders are Do You Want To Know More fascist MCU tripe.

And the rest... woof.

Call them the Columbians. Then we can have the same fight in 20 years.
 
I've said before, Hogs was always the best one to me. It's a nice callback to the 80s, i.e. the one time the team was good. And it's easy to make a mascot and merchandise for. It will be a little derivative of the Razorbacks, but who cares. I would just do Hogs, not Red Hogs, the latter makes it seem like the just want to put sticker saying "Hogs" instead of "Skins" on any remaining "Redskins" around the stadium.
