NFL 2019-20: The Patriots Are A Terrible 11-3 Team!

I have literally stopped watching the Seahawks, after 45 seasons, because I can't stand to look at those unis anymore.

Just a reminder of what was once one of the best uniforms in football:

The head of the bird should go up imho but yeah that color combo is far superior.

The offense have taken leads late in the 4th quarter 6 times this season and last only to have it given away due to defense, coaching and/or special teams. Six. Times.

That said the OC this year is garbage (btw Cousins has had a difference OC nearly every season in MIN) and Zimmer needs to go if not also Spielman.

Go easy on the Vikings OC and DC, they both put in a lot of hard work being born to their fathers.

Gruden claims to have thousands of worse emails. And emails relating to STL --> LA of the Rams (collusion). And things relating to the Washington football club name.

I wonder how much hush money "Chucky" will get out of this from the NFL.

This all came out from the investigation of a toxic work environment with the WFT. So while they may *try* to hide it, it seems that it will not really work out.

Also, let's not act like the Raider's ownership isn't letting this happen too to get out of that albatross of a contract they gave Gruden.

Yeah. If they played this right, they don't owe him anything more than the go away money they paid him. If he has collusion emails, they basically transferred that contract cost to the NFL. What a deal.

And Gruden is certainly dumb enough to take everyone with him out of spite.

This is all you really need to know.

A law firm was paid to investigate Washington Football Team. We didn’t see a single email from Dan Snyder and never a written report. Yet all of Gruden’s emails come out from an investigation he was even not the subject of. Strange until you remember that OWNERS run the league.

If you want to understand how the world works. That sums it up right there.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for Jon Gruden and the situation he finds himself in, the disgraced now-former coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

He sent those emails, The New York Times reported. In those messages, he used racist language, homophobic language, misogynistic language. He railed against commissioner Roger Goodell for trying to reduce the number of brain injuries suffered by players during the course of games and practice. He thought nothing of sending semi-nude photos of Washington Football Team cheerleaders, photos the women likely didn't know existed, to the other cronies in his circle. I have no sympathy for (Gruden). But what I can't square, and what is as repulsive as Gruden's emails, is that the NFL is fine with letting them leak but it continues to protect Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder like he's a human Fort Knox.

The breadth and depth of Snyder's involvement in and knowledge of the toxic workplace environment at the offices of his NFL team, an environment that festered for years, might as well be the nuclear codes.

As a WFT fan, I'm just glad we're taking everyone else down with us. Down here, we all float.
Steven King is the Vikings of the novelists. He’s often fun and frustrating up until it comes to the end, and he just doesn’t know how to close it out.

Looks like Gruden is now predictably being championed by the "everything is cancel culture" crowd.

I challenge all of them to copy and paste any of those emails and send it to their boss. They can let me know how it turns out while I wait for my McOrder...

I love King so much but that is very very true. His endings usually suck.

So far I’ve only read It and The Stand (extended edition). The Stand had so much promise, but then they four guys started off on their journey to the Black Man, and it all fell apart for those last few chapters.

Someone has to remind them that he resigned. I don't see Davis having the balls to fire him for that.
