As far as I can remember they have always had your 1pm and 4pm games. No MNF the final week. Can't remember if there was a Sunday night game for Week 17 back in the ESPN days.

I can also remember that Week 17, both networks got DoubleHeaders, so I could get 4 different games possibly. But that knowledge didn't come around until I started to understand how the TV rules worked, so ~ 2002/03ish...

I think you are at least correctly remembering some details. Any teams that would have to rely on another team winning or losing to:
1. Get in the playoffs
2. Change seeds

would try and be scheduled/flexed at the same time.

I thought that too, towards the end of the season they schedule games both Sat and Sun to gear up for the playoffs.

Other than last weeks Sat marathon on the NFL Network, nothing. .

At least the Dolphins have been trending up the last few weeks.

The Lions have lost 11 of 12, have a third string QB, a fifth string RB, and their top WR has been out since the first quarter.

Packers and the Lions are tied. Lions have the ball with about a minute and a half left, but are out of Prater's range.
