No wonder the Chargers never win anything

Vikings figured 35-17 meant the clock would just run and no one would do anything, but managed to realize that wasn't the case in time. Move to 7-2.

Right now, the 49ers are leading the Giants.

Jericho, I'm not calling that an upset alert.

Oh, it's not. That was actually expected. I think they want McAdoo-Nothing to get fired. I never advocate forsomeone to lose their job, but Ben looks clueless. There was actually a point where they called the same draw play THREE times in a row, and everyone knew it was coming. If I was OBJ, I'd be using my downtime to look at signing elsewhere.

Getting interesting.

Now comes this report from Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio suggesting that multiple NFL owners have discussed the possibility of forcing Jones out from his current position as Cowboys owner.

“They could, in theory, attempt to trigger forfeiture of the Dallas franchise,” Florio reported. “A league source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that multiple owners already have been discussing the possibility, which flows from Article VIII of the NFL’s Constitution & Bylaws.”

The action would be under the guise of Goodell himself concluding that Jones “has been or is guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the League or professional football.” Under the current CBA, this is well within Goodell’s power.
