Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

Tampa @ Miami could be in jeopardy Sunday. NFL has only said they are figuring out alternatives, including possibly moving the date or location.

Both teams are off week 11 (pretty sure that week, same week regardless), though I'd have to think that's a last resort. NFLPA would take the shield to task for trying to make teams go 16 straight weeks.

not like either of them has to worry about going 17 straight

And the Jets are 1000-1.

Still way optimistic. Does Vegas cap odds, because the Jets are arguably 1,000,000 to 1. Would you put $100 on the Jets at 100,000 to 1? I wouldn't.

The only way this makes sense is if the assumption is the Jets are trying to lose and the Jets always f-ck up so...

I don't.

But I guess that's your point.

Webb had one big win in 2009(?), after Brett Favre went down for the season with an injury, and the old Metrodome's ceiling had collapsed. Webb played really well that game, got the Vikings the upset win, and had everyone thinking he could be the next hidden gem. Everyone was wrong. He struggled mightily after that game.

Officially moved to 11/19

At the start of football season later this evening, lets all take today to honor the Patriots as the most awesome sports team in world history and discuss how they've positively impacted our lives! :D

Kep, why don't you lead us off? Mookie you're on deck if you're not in that Kuwaiti prison yet. ;)

Re: NFL 2017: With Dollar Signs in Goodell's Eyes

mookie can go first.

the patsies have taught us that cheating works. one doesn't have to feel bad or guilty when you cheat and win. winning is all that matters. it is the american way (patriotic even :) )

if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'!!

Or we could just enjoy this

Tom Brady represents everything wrong with America. Here’s a man who’s too rich and comfortable with his life to risk a god**** thing off the field. He exists only to further his own ends while pretending to just be a good guy. It’s like someone made Ivanka Trump into a football player.

Or

It ain't cheating unless you get caught. ;)

Season hasn't even started and the haters are out in full force. Hope you enjoyed the prime special NBC had on the other night. 60 minutes of Do your Job 2, non stop interviews with Bill and his staff. Very entertaining
