NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

Re: NFL 2016-17: Your Fantasy Team Will Suck This Year.

There are simply a lot of problems in Green Bay's offense right now.

Couple that with Minnesota outplaying Green Bay tonight, despite Trae Waynes best efforts, and the Packers were going to have a difficult time winning that one.

Big win for the Vikings, and Sam Bradford looked great. Of course, if the O-line continues to allow anyone and everyone to get to the QB, Bradford won't get to play too many more games.

It will be interesting to see what Peterson's status is...didn't look good.

Agreed on all fronts.

The pressure from GB's front 7 was the only thing I enjoyed from my team tonight. Outplayed on all other fronts.

Waynes nearly cost MN the game. Thankfully, he redeemed himself. That being said, MN's offense is not good, but they may be good enough. Their D is carrying them right now.

AP getting hurt MAY be a blessing. They won't count on him as much, and will get creative on offense. Time will tell with that.

By the way, I wish no injury on any player, period. Just stating facts with the above portion of my post.

My friends are shocked that I think the Packers are at best a wild card team right now.

I'm honestly not sure what element of our team they see that says "division winner". Might be that they're taking for granted that Rodgers and the passing game will return to form at some point.

I mentioned to a Cheesehead buddy of mine, the Vikings D (minus Waynes for 90% of the game) stepped up. It happens. I dunno if MN is gonna win the division. Their offense is not good, but it might be good enough, you know? Their D is carrying them right now.

It is so weird to watch a Vikings team where the defense is what gives them a chance each game. I wasn't alive in the 70's when this was the norm.

Disagree on the offense. The O-line is bad. Bradford looked awesome, Diggs looked awesome. The O-line needs fixed, other than that, the offense was fine. (the running game issues are an o-line issue)

They had the same thing in 2000's with Pat and Kevin Williams + Jared Allen on the D-line. That defense was pretty dang good, but not as good as this one. That defense was weak in the secondary.

That secondary was brutal. Now we have a surprisingly good line (I didn't expect a return to this kind of dominance for at least a few more years), maybe the best set of LBs in the league, and a top notch FS. The CBs are serviceable and should get better. We seriously have a potential "all-timer" defense coming together. If not this year, then certainly by next year.

I think you guys are forgetting RGIII. What's even more flimsy that tissue paper?

Company or university supplied "bathroom tissue". It's either completely flimsy or "John Wayne".

John Wayne bathroom tissue: rough and tough and don't take no < bleep > from nobody.

Yeah, I agree. The best players on this defense are young too. Barr and Kendricks should be very good for many years. Danielle Hunter is a future monster, a guy that will be leading the league in sacks in a year or 2. The defensive tackles are very solid, specifically Linval. I even like the secondary. At some point, need to replace Sendejo (draft). But the cornerbacks (minus Newman) are young and only going to get better. Rhodes, Waynes, and Alexander are a very nice young trio.

edit: We also have, IMO, an extremely capable coach. Zimmer is quickly proving that he's already one of the very best in the league.
