NFL 2016-17 II: Playoffs, Super Bowl, and Offseason

Re: NFL 2016-17 II: Playoffs, Super Bowl, and Offseason

AP as a Packer? Wonder how Vikes and Packer fans feel about that. Can't see anyone blowing much dough on him.

I hate the idea of it being AP that does the reverse Favre. I don't care for him with what he's done off the field and honestly, I don't really think he fits the Packers. They don't run enough and AP always seems the best when he gets 20+ carries.

Pass blocking was always a weakness for him, and he's a below average receiver for an RB. He can catch, but it has to be a near perfect pass placement.

Seems like Raiders material to me! Surprised they haven't signed him to a "prove it" one year contract with heavy incentives.

That reminds me, I don't get the Steelers organization or Steelers fans. Thought sure they would 1) Make Hightower and offer he couldn't refuse, and then 2) Sign Butler to an offer sheet. Not only does this screw your biggest rival, but it would also fill two areas of desperate need on the D. Or you force the Patriots to pay up on their now #2 CB.

Instead they've done nothing to make their team better, the team that crushed them in the AFCC did, but their fans and writers are all saying what a successful offseason this has been. Okay....

Sources say Tony Romo is retiring and going into the TV booth.

Until it's confirmed, I'll believe it when I see it.

The over/under for a color commentator season ending injury is 6 games

Amazon Prime is replacing Twitter for streaming 10 bad Thursday night football games in 2017.

It might be worth it for a franchise QB. Mitch Trubitsky, however, is not such a QB, and I have no earthly idea why people keep discussing him as such.

Granting that I don't follow college football closely, I have never heard of him.
