Check this out,Like the Pats two free agent signings so far. Bennett and Logan Ryan are nice players to have but some idiots (Raiders, etc) are going to overpay them by 10M dollars. Not my money but the replacements seem like a better fit value/talent wise. Would really like to see Hightower come back however.
Nothing's better than getting players from sh !tty teams like Buffalo, Chicago, or Cleveland. All of their players are so used to losing they go out of their minds once they get to New England and give 110% for a chance at a winning season, let alone a SB ring.
Talking with a guy at work and he said the Patriots haven't had a receiver like Cooks since Randy Moss. Cooks still has 2 years left on his rookie contract. They just signed CB Stephon Gilmore and are paying him $14 mil a year. It's said Butler wants $15 mil per so methinks he's the odd man out.Not a fan of this. I'd keep Butler one more year. Pats don't need another receiver even if Amendola is shown the door.
Hauschka to the Bills, 4/$12.4 million.
That's a lot of money for a kicker. Basically, if he misses more than 2 kicks next year, he's a flop signing. How's that stack up for a kicker?
Bears release that QB who doesn't give a ****

Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out.Unless someone tries to sign Butler I'd prefer to keep them both for one more year. Then franchise Butler and or trade if needed after that. Brady's not getting any younger.
Houston trades Osweiler and a 2nd to Cleveland, Cleveland will eat Osweiler's contract. I am not making this up.
Exactly. He'll be gone before the season starts and Cleveland gets a 2nd round pick.Andrew Bogut: No one’s had a shorter career in Cleveland than me
Brock Osweiler: Hold my beer
