Just bizarre. It wasn't just the clock management and the execution. It was also a dumb play call. They were lucky they didn't fumble on the handoff. Almost an exact repeat of Herm Edwards' "Miracle at the Meadowlands." How about a kneel or a less risky handoff?

Here's an interesting perspective on NFLPA vs NFL regarding Tom Brady's overturned suspension: the legal appeals process lasts so long that Brady is retired before they are ultimately resolved, at which point the appeals court then declines to rule at all because it no longer matters whether Brady is eventually suspended or not.

Re: NFL 2015: Let's Talk About Balls

I was looking for the box score. looks like the QB averaged over 25 yards per pass and the lead running back averaged over 20 yards per carry.

107-90 in regulation time. since neither number is divisible by 7, I wanted to see if there were any field goals at all or if every score was a touchdown with either a few two-point conversions thrown in or a missed extra point (e.g., 90 could 13 touchdowns and 12 extra points; 107 could be 15 touchdowns 13 extra points and 2 two-point conversions).

In the historic game where the Bears beat the Washington team named for potatoes*, 73 - 0, they actually scored 11 touchdowns but they were forced to stop kicking extra points because there were no nets behind the goal posts in those days and they were running out of footballs (once it went into the stands it was pretty much gone...)

* red-skin potatoes is NOT the source of the team name?? never mind...... :o

So, the Bucs, Browns, Raiders, Redskins (oops, Washington.) and Jaguars all won this week.

Pigs are now flying and hell is freezing over.

Great Rape Ape is hurt badly. I would not recommend watching the replay. Ish.

Rumors are it's season-ending, and I wouldn't be surprised.

Colts miracle a win at TEN, Saints are quickly becoming the Ain'ts once again, and Cleveland...well, they're Cleveland. Finally, SF is getting prison-raped by Arizona.

amazing how some qb can be hit in the knee and no flag is thrown.

The Bears punted 10 times on 10 drives today.

The Patriots have punted 5 times all season.
