Nfl just released statement that the Pats had nothing to do with the headset issue last night. The problem was made worse by the rain.

then it WAS their fault, since God punished the cheaters and their fans by making them sit through the downpour!

**BREAKING NEWS** The NFL has announced that Bill Belichick is responsible for the rainstorms which impacted the Steelers ability to win the game.

This chit just never stops. :p

The Patriots are brilliant. Every bad thing that Bill B does, the GLA comes in and fixes. Genius, I tell you. Genius.

You east coast fans are as derpy as us Gopher and Sioux fans during those games.

But we're a lot closer to each other than you folks out in the Wilderness. Why Kep and I are almost 45 road miles from each other but it's just too far to travel.

Normally I don't mind the Packers getting bumped for the Lions, but I don't see the reasoning in not allowing both networks to have games at both timeslots in Week 1. Everyone is amped for the season to be back, and now I'm missing Packers-Bears because the Lions play in San Diego at 4.

I get to see Cousins at least on CBS, so that's a small consolation.

I thought I was going to have to miss the Packers game too, but I found it on CTV (one of those nice things about living right on the Canadian border.) As far as conflicts with the networks, I have never understood why they do things as they do. I'm certain an out of area game would draw better than infomercials.

Mariota's first drive? TD, 53 yard pass to Kendall Wright.

Winston's first pass? TAINT (cBrent).

To be fair, IIRC, TMQ came up with TAINT. I just promote its usage. :)

The football gods smiled upon me today. Not only did the Bills win, they shutout IND K, who I was facing in FFL. :D

JJ Watt with 9 solos and 2 sacks. Didn't see the game, but they had to have been doubling him up much of the time.

Bills and Patriots in a tough game next Sunday. Should be a good game

Seeing cousins isn't a good thing
