Plantar fasciitis is term for the plantar fascia to be swollen, and can escalate to tiny tears of the fascia tissue, when it goes on for a long period of time and is continually stressed, as I understand it. The PF connects the heel to the toes and works to support the arch.

I got a form of that when I twisted my ankle badly. Effed up that leg for a year.

Victor Cruz is having season-ending calf surgery. As a Giants fan, it's almost time to pull the plug on his time in NY.

I can tell you from personal experience it hurts like you wouldn't believe.

After today's rumors that he'd been fired, then not fired, it now appears that Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has received the official word from Donald Trump.

Well, I more than likely cracked something in it and didn't go to the hospital. No insurance. I feel like medical experts May have prevented it.

It swelled up pretty bad and I was limping hard for three or four weeks. Then it was fine. Five months later, that whole lower half of my leg hurt, including my foot (the arch especially). I had a retail job that had me on my feet the whole time, so come Thursday and Friday every week I was limping worse than I was right after I turned it. This of course made the knee and hip of the other leg sore from favoring the other one so much. I was just about to wave the white flag after months of that and it luckily subsided and eventually stopped.

Hakeem Nicks signs with the Giants to take Victor Cruz's roster spot. if they use him properly, and if he's anything like his former self, Nicks, OBJ, and Reuben Randle could be unstoppable.

Panthers and Cowboys Color Rush jerseys came out. Panthers in their Carolina blue and Cowboys in.... white. I feel like that ruins the whole point of the promotion.

Interestingly, the Packers-Lions Thursday night game in a couple weeks will be back on CBS game on a simulcast.

The Thanksgiving Day games have always been on the major networks. They won't end that anytime soon. It would draw far too much ire.

That's what I thought at first too, but that game isn't the T-giving game. Lions have 2 Thursdays in a row.

Thanksgiving TNF is on NBC. Not CBS

(Though Mookie is praying for color rush thanksgiving night :p )

As do the Packers. Lions are on Fox I think (I believe they were NFC-flexed to CBS last year) and Packers are NBC. I've tried finding an explanation for GB-DET randomly going to CBS, but haven't found one.

It looks like the Buccaneers have been promoted from terrible to mediocre.
