NFL 2015.1 - if the ball weighs as much as a duck, it's a catch!

And didn't have to defend that massive broken play.

That was what brought us back from the dead.

It was just a really, really poorly played game offensively. I'd say it was the worst game Seattle's offense has played in the 3 seasons with Wilson at QB. By all rights we ought to have lost. I'm hoping there is much soul-searching during this week's practices for Carolina.

I think the extra 50 degrees will work wonders for their offense. The cold did appear to be a big factor for them yesterday.

Excellent Steve Harvey meme of him claiming the Vikings won.

Packers will probably lose by zilly to the Cardinals again this week.

Luckily I won't be able to watch until the 4th quarter or so. Also won't be able to watch hockey get destroyed by Minnesota.

These Viking fails are nothing new. They were here hundreds of years before Columbus but got nothing for it.

Re: NFL 2015.1 - if the ball weighs as much as a duck, it's a catch!

Wow, "NFL's six-owner Committee on Los Angeles Opportunities has recommended the joint bid between Raiders & Chargers."

Re: NFL 2015.1 - if the ball weighs as much as a duck, it's a catch!

What does that mean?!?! Two teams become one?

It means the NFL subcommittee is recommending that the Chargers and Raiders relocate to LA with a joint stadium plan in Carson, CA. While the Rams plan to build a stadium in Inglewood and have either Chargers or Raiders move with them is not recommended.

Sounds like the proposal doesn't set out who might switch to the NFC. I still don't really see the need to switch.

How would you handle two teams within the same division playing in the same stadium? Every season those two teams would ostensibly get nine home games, unlike the NJ Jets and NJ Football Giants, where one team will have that advantage only every few years.

I assume the issue isn't getting "9 home games" its the TV distribution. It's far easier to split up TV rights by conference than make special cases or autoflex certain games to the other network.

If they have appropriate fan support, why would the same division be such a big deal? You could make the road team use the road team locker room instead of their home locker room, obviously the majority of fans should be supporting the "home team." If not thats the home teams fault, much like the number of Packer fans at the Metrodome over the years, etc.

Like I said, the idea of switching is far more about having an AFC (CBS) team and a NFC (FOX) team in the market. Granted if you look at the NFL schedule a typical team plays all over the dial.

one of them would move to the nfc (chargers would be mookie's guess) and the seahawks return to the afc

.... You could make the road team use the road team locker room instead of their home locker room,

also betting each team will have their own locker room :D if one was the 'road' they wouldn't be moving :p

I assume each team would have their own locker rooms as well plus a road locker room...to make things more fair if that really is an issue, you could make the "road" team that day move to the road locker room.

Yeah, no team will want to share their home locker room with a crosstown rival. Does the Meadowlands have three locker rooms?
