Coughlin has informed his staff that the Giants are making a head coaching change, per ESPN.

Nice Custer's reference! :D

MN is all pumped, but tomorrow reality will sink in.....Seattle. I don't expect a win.

I don't give the Vikes much of a chance in this one either, but the weather could be something of an x-factor. I was just looking at a forecast that is showing 5 degrees at kickoff with wind coming into the open end of the stadium. I've noticed Richard Sherman wears that cold weather face mask of his when it's not really all that cold. He better pack a few of them.

Every other team in the NFC North has won the division at least twice. My Lions don't know how to do that.

They know how to make the playoffs in the 2000s. My team doesn't. ;)

Seriously, the Lions are just usually BAD. They lose in creative ways at times, but they don't make the awesomely creative mistakes like the Vikes (in big games, anyways): 12 Men, K causing a fumble, left-handed pass to nowhere (although Favre was ok at that "talent")......

OAK, SD & StL have all applied to return to Los Angeles. Who will be the lucky winner(s)?

StL and maybe SD. NFL still hates the Raiders. /ghostofAlDavis

The Lions have just had weird things happen at their games. Like the Calvin rule and oh, calling the coin flip before its in the air because of that thanksgiving game with Pittsburgh.

Winning the coin toss and choosing the wind in sudden death OT...Dan Orlovsky running out the back of his own end zone for a safety...Gym Shorts challenging a scoring play that was going to be automatically reviewed and most likely overturned, thus earning a 15-yard penalty and rendering it unable to be reviewed...losing to Baltimore who had six field goals and no touchdowns...Calvin Johnson fumbling the game winning TD at the 1 and Seattle batting the ball out the back of the end zone which caused the reffing crew's brains to barf all over the field...facemasking Aaron Rodgers on the last play of the game and allowing a 61-yard game winning Hail Mary on the ensuing untimed down...

Sorta my point. The Lions do that many a game. Vikings decide to save it up for a big game......

The Knee vs ATL (long term, but still a key moment).

It's not Chuck's fault that they had Bad Luck this year.

Has he healed yet? I don't even remember what he injured anymore.

All indications were that he was going to be fired right up until he was extended...not many coaches stay where they're at once their contract actually expires. There has been a ton of tension between him and the GM and the Owner...pretty surprised myself that he survived.
