Cowherd just came up with the best punishment for the Patriots, lose a high draft pick and be forced to be on Hard Knocks for 2 seasons :) haha
 
So now brad Johnson is saying he paid someone to get super bowl balls the way he wanted them.

Players talk openly about how teams would prep balls differently for the varying environments and what each quaterback likes. Some like a well worn ball while others like the feel of a brand new one. Some like the laces to be minimal while others like them them think and highly pronounced. Teams can do these things so long as they also adhere to the NFL's rule book, like you said.

I'm not coming down one way or the other on guilt or innocence, but Brady's comment is a classic non-denial denial.

I'm curious as to whether they are testing the footballs from both sidelines. It doesn't sound like they are, which IMHO would be a mistake.

If both teams' footballs had the same problem, then it isn't something that the Patriots did; and on the other hand, if only the Patriots' footballs were underinflated, then that increases the likelihood that the Patriots did do something.

In this case they said they tested all 24 balls, apparently at halftime. Which means the Colts got blown out with regulation footballs.
 
Someone in KC is saying balls were reinflated at halftime and balls were fine 5 minutes before game started.
Its a radio staion in KC saying this, also pro football weekly has chimed in.

When the NFL confirms New England is cheating, what will the punishment be? Will they go NCAA-style and give Jacksonville a postseason ban?

Holding is cheating.

Pass interference is cheating.

So how many yards should a low ball be?
