Man, ESPN just ruined a lot of people's weekends. That article is incredible.

About a quarter of the way through I said, "holy s**t, now THAT'S the kind of investigative nuclear journalism I've been hoping for! Same, ESPN, just when I was about to write you off for good you come back and completely redeem yourself.". Maybe in not so many words, but yeah.

Talk about walking into someone's office, sh itting on their keyboard as they watch in horror, dropping the mic, and waking out.

I mean DAMM

Very surprising it was ESPN, the PR arm of the NFL. The bean counters must have decided they need an intervention to stop them from committing suicide and destroying an expensive property.

Yeah, there's actually a good discussion about the reporting on the story (rather than the story) in the Deadspin comments section. Very interesting stuff.

The ESPN article is a very good read.
