Man, **** this.

So, nice of Eli to save his usual interceptions for the first Giants would be TD and the last would be Giants TD. On another note, who is the better kicker, Nick Folk or Ndamukong Suh?

Dear Steelers Receivers,

Quit dropping passes. You are killing me in my fantasy league because I have Ben. Thanks.

Yours,
Dan

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

if things hold, I'm going to lose in my money league with the 2nd highest score of any team in the league...gawd I hate it when that happens!

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

2 TDs for Rob Gronkowski and no catches for Aaron Hernandez? Seriously? SERIOUSLY?

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Well, I won't sleep well tonight. Was up by 30+ going into tonight. Was up by about 15 with like 10 minutes left, and Ben goes over 300 (+5 bonus points) and throws a junk TD. I'm CURRENTLY up by .99, both of us are done. If Mayo didn't get that last tackle, I would be losing by .01.

BUT, Defensive stat adjustments (Passed Defended, Tackles) happen overnight, so I could wake up with a loss.

Ward going out early KILLED me, he was supposed to offset much of Rothlisberger's stats.

EDIT:

...Aaaaaaand I'm currently losing by .01. ARE YOU KIDDING?!

EDIT 2:

Now winning by .99 again. What is happening?!

Thank goodness my strategery and luck pay off. Started Fred Jackson over Knowshon Moreno (strategery) and Cassel goes off on ARodg's bye week (luck). Sitting at 5-4-1, first place (and main rival) is sitting at 5-3-2. 4 weeks left.

My former co-owner and protege takes over first place in his division with a 1/2 game lead and the tiebreaker. We both hope to face each other in the title game, and a bet is already in place in case that happens. Best part? He's a huge GB fan, and his quote: "If I lose because of Aaron Rodgers....that's how supervillians in comics are born. The Fantasy Football Killer?! Why? Because my team's qb beat me in the title game! AUGH!"

League 1 (4-5) I'm up 15 with LeSean McCoy and Brent Celek going for me. They have only Santana Moss

League 2 (5-4) Up 63 with McNabb and DeSean Jackson against Vick. Clinched I think.

League 3 (7-2) Already won thanks to Big Ben in garbage time. Up 12.80 points and I have Maclin going for me.

Good week I should say.

I am down by 7 with Chris Cooley and the Eagles D going tonight, nobody going for the other guy. I think I'll be able to take it, but its too close for comfort.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Looking like 1-2 for me this week, thanks in part to a poor WR start/sit decision for me...

League 1: What was looking like a blowout (not in my favor) after the 4pm games became a possible contest thanks to this league's rules giving points for return yards on par with rushing/receiving yards. I trail 119.9 - 84.5, but have Michael Vick and Ryan Torain going in tonight's game so it's possible I could make a comeback. My MVP: Emmanuel Sanders (27.9 thanks in large part to 178 return yards). Honorable mention to Jamaal Charles (18.1). FU to Thomas Jones (2.2), started in tandem with Charles because of byes for two of my other RBs, and Jason Witten (0.7).

League 2: FU, Tom Brady. His ridiculous night turned what should have been a big lead for me into a close contest; I lead 83.8 - 80.3, but my opponent has Chris Cooley going tonight and I need a quiet game from him to hang on and win. My MVP: Joe Flacco (23.1). Honorable mention to Calvin Johnson (18.8) and Jamaal Charles (18.1). FU also to Rashard Mendenhall (5.5) and especially Aaron Hernandez ("Mr. Blutarsky. ZERO POINT ZERO.") for keeping it a close game. I also would be in much better shape if I'd played Brandon Lloyd (21) or even Percy Harvin (12.4) instead of Terrell Owens (6.4).

League 3: Looks like my Rob Gronkowski-related rage may have been unnecessary. Despite his absurd 27.7 points for my opponent (along with 28.2 for Dez Bryant), I'm in good shape leading 161.4 - 116.7 going into MNF, with only David Akers left to play for the other team. My co-MVPs: Calvin Johnson (29.8), Eli Manning (31.8). Honorable mention to Brandon Lloyd (24) and Chris Johnson (24.9). I'd have a bigger lead if I'd gone with Steven Jackson (24.8) or Mike Wallace (36.1) instead of Jahvid Best (5.9) in my W/R flex slot, but it seems unlikely to matter.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Only play in one league this year. I was 1-4 and in dead last including last in scoring and ready to give up in my team. Since then, I have gone on a 4 game (soon to be 5 game) winning streak and have since moved into a tie for 3rd (will be all alone in 3rd since I am beating the guy I'm tied with). And this is including having two RBs benched for what I thought were better matchups... Brady's big night helped me go from a close matchup to a blow out. I'm sitting pretty!!!

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Redskins are in trouble and they have played about 4:30 of the game so far.

Vick 14, McNabb 0.

Doesn't mean it didn't break the new laws...
NFL didn't change any rules related to hits. They are just over enforcing the existing ones with fines now.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Vick has already made up 26 points of my 35-point deficit coming into tonight's game.
