Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

probably the biggest FFL wise is Grant, whom is the only packer I managed to draft in any of my 3 leagues

Same here... Luckily Vick and Jackson are still available. I'm going to try to pick up both. Jackson for replacement, vick for trade bait.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Really? Looked to me like the ground caused it...
Im with MNS here Brent, the NFL separates the attempt to make a catch and running with the ball. In one instance you have to show control throughout the process which johnson did not (according to the refs). In the other, a player is going to the ground and doesn't lose it until he hits the ground...

And I don't think CJ lost control of the ball until he hit the ground.

(I actually don't think he lost control at all, but just going with the refs' view on this one).

In summary, both calls were consistent in that manner.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Randy Moss saying he doesn't expect to be with the Pats in 2011. Methinks he wants to be there and will end up being there.

Also, I'm watching the calvin johnson catch again, I still don't see how that's not a TD.

You can't compare a running play to a catch in the end zone though...

Still haven't seen the CJ play, so I still won't make a call either way...

I can if they rule the possession with the ground being the common factor. When you see the non-catch, you'll understand.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

If I'm Johnson, next week when I make a catch I refuse to give the ball to an official. Just line up with it. Hey, have to maintain possession, right?
