Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Why the hell are we talking about Simpson in a football thread?!

'Cause, you know, when I think NFL, I think Jessica Simpson.

Well we could talk about the Bills playoffs chances the next decade or so...

After a brief second we will be back on Jessica Simpson :p

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Ok maybe Favre should not make ALL the offensive calls :p

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

So maybe the vikes should pass to open up the run. Cause the other way isn't really working so far.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Ah so now it is Don Adam time...sweet I was wondering.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

OK. What the hell was that? The refs just stole a TD from the Vikings

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

There was no false start. And then the next play Dallas got away with PI. Are you even watching the game?

They got away with holding. NOT PI. The hold came before the ball was even thrown. Are YOU even watching the game?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Ya know...the "Don Adam Rule" sucks in hockey why is the NFL using it?

(The Don Adam rule is that whenever he refs a game and a team goes up by 2 goals the next 3 penalties will be against the winning team...it doesnt matter if they are home or away, good or bad, as long as they are winning by 2 they get the calls)

You're right, it was holding. My mistake. I said holding right when it happened, not sure why I decided it was PI. Still that is one made up penalty followed by a missed penalty.

Because they're Dallas. If the shoe was on Minnesota's foot the Don Adam rule wouldn't be in play.

Either way, it was a missed call...well two since I didnt see Harvin flinch. (though he probably did)

Will a ref get hit by a bottle today?

Then it isnt the Don Adam rule...****it I wonder what this rule should be named.

:)
