Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

There are a great many stories about the Vikings who invaded Europe during the Dark Ages and settled Greenland...oh wait, he means the football team?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

3-0 Indy.

And now Baltimore is starting from the shadow of its own goalposts.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

"what a snatch!!"

..seems Dan just discovered the cheerleaders.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

10-3 Indy, game over. I doubt Flacco can get them in the endzone

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

I'm a little astonished that you're going to call a personal foul on that.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Whomever selected Shannon Sharpe's wardrobe should be fired. And if that person is Shannon himself, so be it.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

That defenseless WR penalty on Ray Lewis was BS. What was Lewis supposed to do? Let him catch it? Collie ducked his head, and its not like Lewis launched himself.

Yet again the NFL institutes a rule after several dirty hits, and ends up making the game worse because the refs don't know when its a penalty.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Umm, so is the one ref who actually knows faceguarding isn't PI in this game? What a joke.

Oh wait, that was actually PI. No attempt to play the ball

Peyton would get that call.

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

Ed Reed is an idiot, move the ball to your left arm! And Garcon is awesome but no one for Baltimore let Reed know Garcon was coming or blocked him?

Re: NFL 2009 Thread #3: The Quest for Perfection

I would have given Dan a lot of credit if he had said "huge tracts of land" right there.

Definitely a heck of an effort to stay with the play, though. All the Ravens blockers were looking up field - nobody "checked six."
