"Is Shawne Merriman gonna have to choke a b*tch?"

Apparently the answer is yes.

Battery and false imprisonment. Whatever that means.

He knocked out Tila Tequila - he's a national hero.

I'm going to get killed for this, but I'll forgive him that abuse if he takes out another dozen people on that garbage network.

that being said, violence against women is wrong. Violence against MTV personalities should be encouraged.

(it took them how long to come up with "the State" DVD? And what happened to the videos?!?!)

Remember when fantasy football was played by guys who knew football and demonstrated as much without the aid of 1,500 TV shows, magazines, mock drafts and websites. And remember when winning each week was based upon knowledge of what changes to make vs. calling talk shows and asking other people whether you should start Ray Rice or Marion Barber?

What's next..pay your money and some expert plays the entire season for you?

Yeah, there's a lot of people who can't think for themselves. It's fine to get mags and such, for general input/find out exactly who that 3rd string TE is on Cleveland or something, but so many just "draft by the list" their mag has.

The only difference between the talking heads on FFL shows/in FFL mags and someone who's been in FFL for years, is that the former gets paid to spout off what he thinks he knows.

Of the 8 guys in my pay league, half made their own lists. The other 4 used stuff straight out of a magazine/off ESPN.

All but one team in my league buys a magazine or two, but we all make our own lists. The other guy just uses the 'net for his info. I buy one mag a year, and use it for the stats to make my lists. Honestly, if I wanted to put the time into it, I could just go on the 'net and print out the same lists and find some team synopses, but I'd rather just pay the $5 or whatever and save the time.

It is a little more difficult than 20 years ago, what with keeping track of all the FA signings, etc., but not terrible. The info is out there, it's a matter of how much time you want to spend on it/how involved you want to be.

I never make any lists or even pre-rank, unless I have to auto-draft. I just know what position I want to draft, que up the top 3 or so at the position and decide from there when my turn comes up.

Online drafts I usually do that, but even then I have people in mind. To be fair, I don't care about those drafts too much because they are my "free/fun" league(s). My main league, no way, never. I usually put in 10-12 hours minimum studying/making lists.

I do recognize that there are many out there that do know their stuff, just annoying that some seem to really have none of their own thoughts...yet think they are really experts.

I was just venting.

No worries. Personally, I think Paul Charchyan (of Fanball fame, and KFAN Minneapolis) is an idiot. Usually I do the exact opposite of what he says, he's that bad, IMO. But people think he's a friggin' genius.

You on the other hand are about as intelligent as a sack of rusty doorknobs.

Yet when the chips were down (a buddy bet me that I would finish worse than Charch one year), I not only outperformed him, but I won the FFL title in our league. :p

So that goes to show how dumb Charch is. :D
