Agreed. TMNT 2 The Secret of the Ooze was my favorite. Mostly because of the "Ninja Rap".

Ooze has a little more fun that the first one, though the first was good too.

Luckily, TMNTs arrived when I was in my teens, so I missed all of it.

Certainly saw all of the younger kids into it big time though.

It'll just be one of those things in life that I missed out on.

Watching TED with the Mrs.

What's funny about this movie? I'm 30 minutes in and we have drugs, Fbombs, and drugs and FBombs.

I stared at the tv for about an hour, straightfaced, until I was bored enough to turn it off.

On one hand, it's your classic Seth MacFarlane vehicle, so it's completely overrated and filled to the brim with all of his smug bull****.

Identity on AMC right now. Very underrated. I absolutely love this movie.

Yes indeed. I questioned the marketing of this movie after viewing, then realized, they really couldn't have done it any other way. They had to present it the way they did. Kinda like Fight Club, although that was a better movie overall.

I hope I can explain my point correctly in this post.

Some movies stand out because of the story. Some because of the acting. Some because of both. Occasionally, either the story or acting outshines the other so much it MUST be mentioned and lauded. This was the case for Doubt (acting), Frost/Nixon (acting), Fight Club (story).

The Master, for acting.....wow. Just wow. Amy Adams providing a beautiful balance of power between Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix. You want acting? Here it is. It didn't even matter what the story was, IMO (which was decent, btw). But the actors drew you in so well......outstanding.

Never been much of a Bond fan. Hadn't seen one since For Your Eyes Only in the theater.

My wife, however is a Daniel Craig fan and she watched Bond fils as a kid, so we decided to take on the latest 3.

Saw Casino Royale & Quantum of Solace this weekend. Liked em a lot. Craig seems to me to be a good Bond, but then I wouldn't be much of a judge.

Judy Dench is great too.



We'll do Skyfall next weekend.
