New Hampshire vs. Maine: Feb 4/5

Re: New Hampshire vs. Maine: Feb 4/5

You do know that 99 was a long time ago right? Time to step out of the past. In the past decade Maine has done the exact same as UNH.

Maine is a has been, and I'm a Maine fan. No way I would drop the "no hardware" insult now.

Re: New Hampshire vs. Maine: Feb 4/5

Maine is playing up and down and very inconsistant hockey...NOT a good recipe for a weekend at UNH...UNH looking to pack points in Hockey East Standings...if and thats a BIG IF...Maine is not ready...then this has the makings of a ugly weekend...imo.

If Maine doesn't come out with intensity this def could be an ugly weekend. I don't know what else you need to get fired up than a weekend series against your biggest rival. They need points and needs points fast so expect Maine to play desperate hockey. Never know what could happen but def better bring it or they will get run out of the arena once again. GO BLUE!!

Which BLUE? Robin's Egg Blue or Navy Blue?;)

Whaddya mean? That things eternal, though incorrect. Technically speaking, even an empty trophy case has hardware 'on' it. Hinges, handles, etc...they're all technically 'hardware'. :)

Re: New Hampshire vs. Maine: Feb 4/5

congrats, Whitehead is still your coach, and will be for the forseeable future.
oh, and if you're going to bring youtube videos in:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvax5IUtjGk&feature=related (2:35 in)

why in heaven's name are you THAT interested in this type of video that you would have watched till 2:35 in?

wow.
wild, I am sure.
...last, maine hoceky does not have much going for it, but Whitehead has done better than Umile in the NCAA's... how can YOU compare?
when maine loses badly in the post season, nobody uses the verb Whitehead-ated... your coach has his own verb

Re: New Hampshire vs. Maine: Feb 4/5

I'll move this from your thread, since it should be over here anyway.
I can't justify anything anyone's done at UNH, but after an elderly UNH fan was hit in the head by a puck thrown at him at your dump of an arena which sent him to the hospital, you can take your self-righteousness and eat it.

thrown AT him or thrown and hit him?
I don't buy this... not one bit.
and I too have seen way too many UNH dolts picking on and swearing at little kids in away jerseys... and no ushers or administrators do anything (like they do at UVM or PC or a few other places that seem to care about criminal behavior--disorderly conduct is a crime)

I don't care what you buy or not, it happened. Whether or not it was directed at the elderly gentleman or not, a puck was thrown at force enough to cause him to go to the hospital for stitches into a crowd of UNH fans. I'd say thats more 'criminal' than some jerk-butts swearing at little kids (which is ridiculous too)

It was talked about on here about a Maine pedophile into bestiality showing up on that show, and the only video I could find that had good enough resolution to show the hat was the longer version. I'm sure you don't buy that happened for one bit either.
Hey, I personally like Whitehead, most UNH fans do. Your fans are the ones that want him gone, not us, no? Whitehead had some good success in his first 5 or 6 years, for sure. And has seemingly run a clean program. I have nothing but respect for him, and hope he stays for a long time.

Universal truth:
Millions live in State of Maine,
Only twelve last names

So what's worse losing to RIT or not being in the tournament at all?
