hope that W/M game tomorrow is a good one. That's the one team (I think?) in the CAA/A10 that McDonnell hasn't beaten since he took over at UNH...

Loved the description of it as "carvable" ... "beer you could take a chisel to".

Is that Alabama Hunstville? Sorry to be out of the loop these tdays, but have HE teams played them before?

Go figure. How do they recruit?

Correct! The last time the Cats won Jerry Azumah was on the team and BILLY!!! (sorry inside family joke) was the coach...

A win down there (fingers crossed) would be awesome -- they're very, very strong.

About a bezillion years ago, UNH head football coach Jim Root left Durham (on good terms) to take over and W&M...

heard that the 'Cats were working on a possible game at Penn State and Bowes played there, so he might be working on that (they already have Pitt/Minny/BC lined up in the next 5 years, nothing yet for '11 and '13)

That part I guess I get.

But I'm betting recruiting folks from the Great White North is a bit of a challenge? Or maybe someone hates cold weather even more than I do...

Oh man -- that's courage. I know we've smacked Rutgers, Northwestern and Ball State, but Happy Valley and Pitt (excellent this year) is kinda' pushing your luck.

Cool for money and recruiting, though.

The money from Happy Valley is hugely necessary... Pitt is an odd deal from what I hear, a gift that involves both football and basketball...

as a Penn State and UNH fan would give me a good reason to final go down to Beaver Staduim :)
