All this conference chaos is the fault of the Big Ten. There were no issues until they gutted 2 conferences!

Don't blame the B1G. The CCHA and the WCHA would have been just fine if the Nacho didn't gut the 2 conferences.

Forgive me if this is obvious, but this was just a backdoor way of kicking out the Alaskas and UAH. No?

It's easier for seven to leave than it is for them to kick 3 out. It sucks, I'm not proud of Tech being part of it.

I'm going to look on the bright side. LSSU won't have any outdated WCHA Champions banners hanging at Abel Arena. Recruits are going to come in and see all those CCHA Champions banners up there and think the Lakers run the league. ;)

I think back when news of the Big 10 hockey conference formed people said college hockey would explode in popularity. That has faaaaar been the case 7 years later.

I'm good with them bringing back the conference name, as long as they don't bring back either Shegos to officiate!

That's your take on it which is fine but I disagree. However, no point getting into it as I alluded to, it's beating a dead horse.

I remember his last game in the Soo. They made an announcement about his retiring during a media timeout and our entire section just started cheering and screaming. The other officials on the ice didn't know whether to applaud or not.
