Not the only thread you've been present in, but saying things that are clearly skewed to get emotionally-fueled reactions out of others on the intertubes is the very definition of trolling, regardless of the thread/forum/board/etc. that it is on. I never claimed the original intent of this thread was not to troll. In fact, I think most of the "EZAC" jabs are kind of funny, myself, being an ECAC fan. Kind of like the "Cup Cake Hockey Association" and "We Can't play Hockey Association" jabs at other conferences, anyone who actually takes any of it seriously is wasting their time really.

We Can't play Hockey Association? Isn't the joke supposed to be against someone who doesn't win? Not much humor making fun of the Yankees for winning all those Championships

I know. I know. but I've got a soft spot for northern goon teams playing in Nazi built arenas with overage Canadiens who pee in elevators and toss lawn tractors while laying in a drunken stupor in a snowbank with frostbitten toes. in bed.

I remember the night of the day this all started. dinner with friends. I ranted. life went on. after a couple of hours one of my friend leaned over and said "you are really upset about this aren't you?" no ****ing ****! and I haven't let go.

I thought conference nicknames were well established?

Hockey Least
EZAC
Cup Cake Hockey Association
Western Clutch and Hold Association

I just don't remember one for Atlantic Hockey.

That's because with Atlantic Hockey, the joke is already on the ice, so there's no need to make one out of the name.

Let's be honest here, shall we. What makes this new conference so prestigious is...the pride, the tradition, the many conference titles, the frequent tournament championships, and NCAA tournament wins (1)... Western Michigan and SCSU!:p
