I would imagine that there is a protocol to have a certain amount of rest after a semifinal game the night before. Wouldn't really be fair for a team to play a 7pm game on Friday and then have to play a fully rested team at 2pm the next day. The Slaats Cup playoffs are an interesting format with the top 6 making it, every team playing in the first round to get down to 3 and then the No. 1 seed gets a semifinal bye while the other two battle it out the night before.

That would really make a difference when it becomes a rested team against a team playing the evening before.

It's not the amount, it's the timing. Stupid players taking stupid penalties costing the team a championship. Considering the refs put their whistles away, this favors Adrian. But it wouldn't surprise me if Adrian ends the game by forcing the refs to make a major penalty call.

One of the best hockey games that I had the pleasure of seeing live....hard hitting, seniors step up for both teams to make it 1 - 1 and freshman Nicksic steps up for the game winner..
