NCAA Tournament Games

Wisconsin 1 Clarkson 0 after 1. This is the best I have seen Clarkson play in a long time. Lots of energy on the ice, sticks on the ice breaking up passes. Clarkson I thought outplayed Wisconsin for a lot of the period but could not convert on their chances. Wisconsin goal was a great play by Wheeleer to go around the Clarkson d and get Zeglin to just pull off enough from the post to sneak the puck in.

Wisconsin did not look very good in the first period but managed to sneak one by the Clarkson goalie and lead 1-0 after 1 period. Clarkson has looked pretty good so far.

UMD with very quick goal leads Harvard 1-0 after the 1st period.

Agreed about Clarkson and correction...it was Maddie Wheeler with the goal.

UMD's first line score 25 seconds into the 2nd period and now leads 2-0 over Harvard. I think that is 2 goals for Hughes If I have it right.
 
I feel for any Ohio State parent over this past season and maybe last season that had to watch games that were streamed like this. Absolutely terrible with the half glass/mesh picture.
Replays, some close up camera stuff and commentators were good though.
 
It looks like the team that had to travel more is coming out slow. Harvard, Q, Wisco all looked bad early.

Harvard has also looked bad middle.
 
UMD on a hat trick by Hughes leads Harvard 3-0, each goal assisted by...three guesses...Giguere. Third period still to play, but the Bulldogs have this game well in hand.
 
Pretty impressed with how Clarkson has come out. I thought Wisconsin would be able to control possession a lot more and I thought their cycling would really take advantage of Clarkson's prone-ness for defensive lapses, but it's really just getting a backup netminder who has had very little playing time this season and some weak penalty calls that, to be fair, have gone both ways.
 
End of 2: Wisconsin 2 Clarkson 0. Just the opposite of period 1. Wisconsin dominated and Zeglin was outstanding making a number of terrific saves. Only goal was a PP by Watts that Zeglin had no chance of stopping. Clarkson on the PP to start period 3.
