Wisconsin does not use them unless the game is, indeed, televised. Didn't use them in quarterfinals even though rumor was Minny wanted them.

Minny would have wanted them to negate UW's depth advantage. No soup for you!

It's basically the sum of whatever everyone has said so far. I'm sick of there now being Eastern champions and BC not being one of them. I don't want some underdog to win in their first shot when BC has been the underdog 8? times now and hasn't won once. I'm sick of WCHA dominance so I don't want Wisconsin to win.

I don't want ANY OF YOU TO WIN.

I AM BITTER AND I DON'T WANT TO WATCH.

You had to be more bitter in 2016 with the loss to the Gophers, right? And I would guess you might blow a fuse if bc is denied a NC with Watt is going to be a super loaded team next year.

What about losing to WI last year with 30 ticks on the clock? That had to be painful too.

Giguere has a wide open Gabel on the 2 on 1 but opts to shoot. Save OSU.

Now, OSU to the power play.

Clarkson kills off the penalty with very little concern, other than OSU committing 3 minors during the power play, none of which were called. The linesmen can't manage to drop the puck either. Did they get these officials from Pyongyang?

There have been plenty of non-calls both ways. And Clarkson's face off complaints would generate more sympathy if they didn't use their sticks like quarterstaffs every time.

It's been both teams getting tossed from the face-offs.

Clarkson to the power play on a protocol violation penalty. I know you can't play with a broken stick but it's not like she made a play; she was going to the bench. There's one I wish they overlooked.

OSU with a good shorthanded chance and they also kill the penalty with relatively little concern.

End of 1 and we're scoreless. I'll ad my input as I have to leave for work and will be watching the rest on my phone (and driving, don't judge).

Both teams generated chances. OSU is very disciplined with their assignments, much like Mercyhurst last week but they have been able to generate a good forecheck, which I thought they wouldn't be able to do without giving up chances. Thus far, I'm wrong.

The officiating is horrible. 1 power play each way, on a tick tack penalty and a protocol violation. On the other hand, both teams are committing actual offenses and they aren't being called. At least it doesn't seem biased.

All in all, a very entertaining game so far.

I'll disagree with you on the Clarkson penalty. She plowed the OSU player over as she was trying to reach for a pass. If you don't call that, you might as well declare that you aren't going to call interference.
