No shit Sherlock. Are you crazy. Literally the only sport Hobart joined sunyac for is hockey. They're in liberty league for other sports.
You still aren't capable of connecting the dots.

Geneseo won 5 of the last 8 conference championships before they left SUNYAC and are 8-2 in their last 10 against Oswego. I’m not sure why you think they “ran away” from anything.Says the clueless one who thinks the decision was because of other sports that are in a different conference. Is ok it's evident that you’re a geneseo guy. No shame in being the 4th best team of a conference.
Not only is there a lack of cross-region games, but 4 out Aurora's 7 "non-conference" games are against NCHA teams. Hamline and Augsburg are the only two non-NCHA teams on Aurora's schedule. Adrian has a similar problem, with Utica and Hiram being the only non-NCHA teams on their schedule. The D3 NPI has now been published HERE. Needs a few more weeks' worth of results before it becomes meaningful.
Will be interesting to see how the dominant teams from the NCHA (3 of the top 4 in the polls) fare with so little cross-region pairings.
Hot take: all in-season tournaments should be mandatory to have 2 east teams, 2 west teams for this reason. Aurora probably expected to play UWSP in the Dubuque tournament (which would have at least been a non-conference opponent), but upsets happen.Hot take: all in-season tournaments should be mandatory to have 2 east teams, 2 west teams for this reason. (I know it will never happen)
No, they did not. And unfortunately you do not have a clue what you’re talking about. These decisions weren’t made with the hockey team at the forefront of their thought process. They knew Hobart was joining when they made decision to leave. And this has nothing to do with other sports as they joined empire 8. They claimed they didn't want all that travel to Plattsburgh and canton and potsdam.
Never take anything away from Utica or their league, it's more about that seems the ice knights feel it's odds are better in uchc compared to dealing with Hobart onto of the 3 to 4 teams always in running in sunyac.
You really need to look up my credentials. Because you are making a complete ass of yourself in front of this board.Says the clueless one who thinks the decision was because of other sports that are in a different conference. Oof. That's not good. Not only is there a lack of cross-region games, but 4 out Aurora's 7 "non-conference" games are against NCHA teams. Yeah, who's going to pay for that?Hot take: all in-season tournaments should be mandatory to have 2 east teams, 2 west teams for this reason. (I know it will never happen)
This guy is actually dumber than FIshman (who granted, does know hockey). I didn't think that was possible.Wait a sec am I reading this right? Russ and the Utica fan base are agreeing on something???????. I swear if nubby comes in here and agrees with them this new guy will be the undisputed biggest dumbass on the entire d3 forum
Obviously, you, like me, are the clueless one. Slasher is clairvoyent on this subject...No, they did not. And unfortunately you do not have a clue what you’re talking about. These decisions weren’t made with the hockey team at the forefront of their thought process.
Yes, but by the laws of set logic, being in Mass also puts Curry in New England, so the Conference of New England is where they stay.Curry’s in Mass they can just join the MASCAC![]()
Is there an online link that shows the NPI formula to go with this cool link? The D3 NPI has now been published HERE. Needs a few more weeks' worth of results before it becomes meaningful.

Was mainly poking fun at the suggestion that low lying conferences (MASCAC, MAC, etc) should be excluded from an AQ bid. That and if a school like Curry ends up missing out on a CNE AQ and an at-large bid, they can just jump ship to the easiest conference imaginableYes, but by the laws of set logic, being in Mass also puts Curry in New England, so the Conference of New England is where they stay.
Just teasing, are you saying that move would be a solution to separate Curry from other CNE powers: Endicott and UNE, who have all made NCAA at-large or league champion appearances over the past few years?
By the way, there may be a power shift happening in the CNE with Suffolk on the rise as they outshot Curry and had 2 would be goals whistled dead (made it across the goal line but out of referee's sight) in what could have been a 4-4 tie going into the game's final minutes....that and beating Endicott on the road 4-1 and tying them the next night at home (lost in shoot out). I believe Suffolk outshot them all in these 3 games. The Ram's next litmus test is in early January when they play a home and home against UNE. The jury is out but the tide may be turning a little in the nationally competitive CNE.
