NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

He could be the band -

A maximum of 25 band members plus the director, 12 uniformed spirit squad members plus the sponsor, and one costumed
mascot will be admitted free of charge. Live animal mascots are not permitted. The institution may purchase additional
tickets for band members; however, no more than 25 will be permitted to play during any session. The host institution should
play electronic music from the time the doors open until the bands begin warming

I really, really hope Burghy shows up. I'd love to see him square off w/ The Lord Jeff...

Be thankful Williams did not win. Where would they put a purple cow?

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

The fan bus is sold out for the NCAA Men's Quarterfinal game at Amherst.

Remaining tickets for Plattsburgh fans interested in going to Amherst go on sale tomorrow at 8 a.m. at the Angell College Center Info desk.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

Stopped in today to pick up some tickets for friends and they didn't have many left here in Plattsburgh. They sold something like 56 for the bus, then add in family tickets for the players... I wanna say they had less than 30 tickets remaining as of 11am. could be more Cardinal fans than Lord Jeff fans.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

Are you saying an Eph is a purple cow?

The Purple Cow is their mascot, the Eph is the team nickname - derived from Ephriam Williams, who founded the college. I'm sure if Mr. Normandin looks hard enough he can find the origin of the Purple Cow as a mascot. Meanwhile I think that's going a bit off track, although Williams and Amherst are both NESCAC schools located in Mass.

Common on Prof, since we are talking about a NESCAC "school", Eph is clearly in homage of Ephesians - "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

You don't have to look too hard. Even an amateur like me can find it... The reason for their mascot is right on their website with a main link to it.

And that's why it never hurts to try . I graduated from Concordia (MTL) three years ago, but the card doesn't expire until 2015, so I continue to use it all over the place.
Ill b sure to alert the authorities asap:D

My Graduate Student ID has no expiration date and I've used for 12 years and counting - Papa John's particularly :)

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal Plattsburgh @ Amherst

Wanted to throw my support and good wishes to the Cards in the playoffs. Amazing SUNYAC title win. Good luck to the Lady Cards, too.
