NCAA Quarterfinal - Norwich @ Amherst

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Norwich @ Amherst

So we go into overtime...If you go to any dictionary and look up camouflage the one common phrase is "an attempt to disguise" It's disturbing to me that Norwich University and Mike McShane would stoop so low as to use this tactic in DIII hockey...before now I always held the highest respect for the coach and the program...sad to think that they believed that they needed this edge.

What are you talking about?

Yeah. Seriously. I think you're reading waaaay too much into the jerseys. A) it's an homage to us being the nation's oldest private military college B) was McShane "trying to deceive" the other 20 times we've worn these jerseys? C) take a lap

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Norwich @ Amherst

That was an incredible game, the only fault I could see was the Norwich had too many men blocking one shooter and that left others open. Tough loss, but remember this guys on the team, You were incredible this year, way beyond expectation and player honorable and outstanding hockey! Well done Cadets, well done. See you next fall.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Norwich @ Amherst

jimmy d, you are a ******* ***hole Middlebury idiot. Your team is not even in this so go back to your hole.

Here are the rules for uniforms in the NCAA rulebook:Rule 9 - Uniforms
9.1
Jerseys - Each player and each goalkeeper listed in the lineup of each team shall wear an individual identifying number at least 10 inches high on the back of the jersey and at least 4 inches high on the front or on both sleeves. The visiting team shall wear dark-colored jerseys and stockings; the home team shall wear light-colored jerseys and stockings. Uniform numbers must be a light colored number on dark jerseys and a dark colored number on light jerseys. All players of each team shall dress uniformly in that day’s game jersey.
Light-colored jerseys (e.g., white, gold, yellow or light blue) may be worn during the regular season by the visiting team only when the teams have...
The applicable rule here is that the visiting team must have a light colored number on dark jerseys. Norwich was definitely in violation of that rule!
Enough said!

And it matters not. Time to move on and 4 teams need to pack their bags for the Twin Cities.

Lotta time on your hands since Midd's been done for weeks?

The fact is that the jerseys were ok'd by the NCAA. Period.

I'll ask again, since you didn't answer me last time, were you this outraged every other time Norwich wore these jerseys over the last two seasons?

Two people on the planet were concerned about the camo jerseys, you and the pbp guy. Give it a rest.

I suppose Army was "trying to deceive" Navy when they wore camo jerseys a couple of years ago? (Football)

Finally, there's no "h" in "karma". If you're gonna zing one of our fans, at least spell correctly.

Re: NCAA Quarterfinal - Norwich @ Amherst

Don't waste your time on jimmyd, he's got nothing else to do in Cornwall in the winter and Middlebury hasn't helped his attitude this year.
