Clarkson has a 30 piece band, BC has Grant...slight edge to the folks on green and gold.

OK the feed just showed TTT and NUWHDoghouse standing side by side in the stands during a break in the action. Infamy. !!!

P.S....And right after that the Eagles take a 1-0 lead. Go Figure.!!!

Eagles up 1-0 after one on a goal by Carpenter. Short were about 11-5 Eagles.

Clarkson had better be more aggressive, and move their skates! Didn't they watch the game films from last week? Btw,, nice shot by Carpenter!

The skating looked quite laboured especially in the first half of the period.

One tremendous save by Tiley.

While it is 3-0, Clarkson showing much better in the 2nd half of the 2nd period, making a push and getting some chances.

Lambert had a great chance on the PP, but could not get her stick on the puck.

I think some of that is the camera angle. It makes everyone look slower than they really are.

Clarkson would be closer if it could at least put a shot on goal when it gets a 3-on-1 and corral loose pucks when the goalie is out of position. I didn't see the first period, but the flow of play was more even in the second period than what the scoreboard shows.

That is Clarkson's game, win the battles behind the net and in the corners, cycle the puck and get a shot in close with chances for rebounds or get it out to the point for a slapper and rebound in front. They are not going to give you the rush up the ice highlite reel goals. They had their chances in period 2 and could not convert, especially with Lambert on the pp with the wide open net and the puck hops over her stick. :(. Not good being down by 3 goals to BC entering period 3.

With 20 min to go and down by 3 you might be correct. :( 2 of the 3 goals Tiley had little chance on, the 2nd goal she probably wants back.

BC looking defensively stout. Clearing pucks out of the danger areas instead of putting them there. Very happy with this effort so far.

Clarkson has a great band.

Clarkson has wasted several odd-man rushes. BC outskated them big time in period one, but period two was much more even, and the latter parts of it Clarkson had a decidly clear territorial advantage, with a strong cycle game in the corners. BC is doing a good job keeping the front of the net fairly clear, and their north game looks more polished than that of Clarkson.

Yes, the Clarkson band is always great and lively at Cheel. How is the BC Alumni band doing ?.

I'd blame the D who left her feet and let Carpenter walk in front all alone before I'd blame Tiley on that one.
