It's always interesting to see all the teams play a little nervous for the first game of the tournament. Causing what are mostly tiny mistakes, but sometime end up being massive ones. That drop pass that lead to MSU's second goal is probably made most of the time during the season. And watching the DU-UW game, neither team is playing all that well with the puck.
Some of that is obviously playing an opponent that is totally new to you. But some seems just nerves.
