Its all the refs fault that Maine lost.Penn State, the last team standing from the b1g. Whoda thunk it.

It was interesting to see how different the results can be when the stripes call warranted penalties on a team pressuring to make a comeback in the third, wasn’t it?Its all the refs fault that Maine lost.
Clearly Maine has been way overrated and PSU is just a much better team than Maine. Its all the refs fault that Maine lost.
Interesting that Minnie wasn't overrated when they lost to a better Umass. All I read was it was all about the refs. Maine clearly was over matched, it had nothing to do with location or refs or etc. Maine lacks any kind of offensive fire power and they score by committee, when it don't click they aren't good.Clearly Maine has been way overrated and PSU is just a much better team than Maine.
I mean, I kinda expected them to be dangerous. They've been the best team in the conference and one of the best in the country over the last month.Penn State, the last team standing from the b1g. Whoda thunk it.
Ok, I need to preface this with, it only applies to Maine fans on reddit. No one here.
Lots of whining about being the 1 seed playing a 4 seed near or at home, due to ncaa rules. It does suck - most teams have had it at some point.
But I can't get over the irony of a small HE school coach and fans being upset about it, when they are the very coaches who admittedly don't want the format to change because they'd lose the advantage they have over the west. Another disclaimer: I don't know what the current Maine coach personally thinks, it's just funny to hear fans (on reddit) that push the format until it inconveniences them once
I am a Boston College fan (there, I said it), but a lot of HE games are on NESN which YouTube TV doesn't carry so I get my college hockey fix on the Big Ten Network. PSU was def the hottest team the last month and no way would anyone have predicted Minn and Mich St would have been bounced in the first game. If BC doesn't win it all, and they have their kryptonite playing Denver tomorrow, I hope Penn St wins it all.I mean, I kinda expected them to be dangerous. They've been the best team in the conference and one of the best in the country over the last month.
I'm with you. But once you let the genie out of the bottle..."Let the players decide the game" is supposed to mean that you let the marginal, "ticky-tack" calls go. Tripping a guy or throwing an elbow when you're battling for the puck in the corner, etc. Now, if you're going to use Pronger Physics and elbow a guy in the head, or if your tripping infraction prevented a good odd-man rush opportunity, that obviously needs to be called.
Wood has announced now as well. I’m guessing the staff has told these guys to by no means drag things out, make the vacancies as clear as possible when the portal opens.Moore and Rinzel sign with the Blackhawks. Figured if one did both would. My guess is Chesley and Wood will announce soon.
Or any hockey for that matter.Remember, we can't have NCAA tourney games at places that regularly host NCAA hockey. That would be unacceptable.
But congrats, Bronco! First time.Rats. Sorry, Kep.
Must be the dust in the air.So f'ing happy.
