NCAA Finals Thread - A Fowl taste on Pointer's tongue?

Just to clear things up...IMO good call on the Tigers 2nd goal. Loved the reaction of Mitchell. Scores and puts his hands on his helmet like "oh my god"! Great group of hardworking kids. Ruby was just crazy with rebound control.

Anyways on to DIII Go Chickens!
+1 on both

Pairwise rankings before this game: #1 MSU, #38 RIT (now #2 and #35)
KRACH (Fishman's favorite metric) after this game: #2 MSU, #44 RIT.

Great win by the Tigers. Tigers won so they're TOTALLY the better of the two teams, right?
(tic)
For about 2 1/2 hours and even that is pushing it......;)

Hmm amazing...

As an RIT fan, awesome game. Mankato clearly more talent and deeper. But sometimes passion, heart, and luck win out....

There was no doubt watching that game who the more talented, deep team was..

I didn't think the better and more talented team could ever lose??

Re: NCAA Finals Thread - A Fowl taste on Pointer's tongue?

Yes, it was, especially after SP got going.

Things didn't go well for Amherst once SP started feeling some rhythm last night. Have to wonder if the break helps Trinity regain some momentum...or will SP find another gear like they did last night?

EDIT:
Well, Trinity jumps out and scores in the first few minutes to go up 2-1.

Trinity reminds me of St Norbert's 2011and 2012 teams. I know they are their own entity, but there are similarities. Very patient.

Good close game over in the D3 championship game.... Trinity seems to be carrying play slightly. Third period should be entertaining.

If 'Point' can pull-out a third period like they did last night, 'entertaining' is likely to be the most appropriate word to use here. ;0)

Good game, overall... enjoying it (although I was a bit pi-ased that I missed a good-chunk of the first due to the need to update the PS4 system... couldn't stream on the plasma, so settled for laptop-grade. Gotta play more video games, apparently!!)

Cheers!!!
