the officials made the right call sending that idiot to the lockers. and i'm sorry yale fans that umd has put you out of your misery, but you should still be proud it was a good season for you. wcha is just deeper. youll be back next year if you're for real. unless you have to play union.

If you think that call was a 5 minutes major then you are clueless. That was a clean hit no interference/no contact to the head. It wasn't the reason why Yale lost, UMD played the better game, but to answer your post it was the wrong call!

I forgot to include the tUMD-Union game last night, so it's 13-3. And Yale played the 4th worst WCHA team in the tourney. :)

When I watched the replay I thought the cameraman was shooting the wrong person. That was a great hit. He caught him with his head down and led with his shoulder. My goodness, he has a helmet with a cage mask. This is not badmitton or horseshoes.

So then if we are going to make a point about which team is worst in the league then let's drop the 6-0 ND win from the points right? After all RPI was the 5th worst team in the ECAC ;)

If you're down 3-1 in the 2nd period and you just scored in front of your home crowd, you're absolutely in the game. To say otherwise is foolish.

My point is that Yale was beat by our 4th worst team in the tourney. Imagine if the Sioux played them. It would've been embarrassing.

They are two different teams and it's college hockey. Who knows what would have happened. SLU beat Yale one night and then the next two got ran out of the building. You never know in college hockey.

UND is like tUMD, except with way more depth, a better goalie, and are much much more physical. I hate 'em with all my soul, but they are the team to beat right now. They are friggin' SCARY this year.

I had pretty much the same reaction. It was a critical call, as UMD went on to score two goals on the 5 minute PP. I was pulling for UMD in the spirit of looking for the WCHA to do well, but I thought the penalty on Yale was a bad call.

You are correct. I worded that wrongly.

I am busy mocking the EZAC and their small group of blowhard fans (there are good ones out there, don't get me wrong, and to those people, my mockery is not directed at you).

And they just laid the smack down on RPI, but so did my Saints earlier in the year as well. I picked North Dakota to win it this year and I will stick by that after what I saw earlier today. They looked very good.

agreed. i dont think anyone wanted to see yale win anyway.. but i atleast wanted them to lose on their own merit
