Them clowns are from the ccha. It's sad but if they see a hard hit even if it's clean they are inclined to call a five minute major. You can ask the Northern Michigan fans as well and they will tell you the same I am sure.
I am pulling for the Bulldogs but reffing like this just ruins the game, shame on the ccha for such incompitent bafoons.

And I admit, until I saw the replay I did think it was PROBABLY the right call. The refs don't have that advantage on calls like that.

Glad there's someone who saw it in real time and thought it was a good call. I thought it was a good hit but when I saw Hendrickson grab his face I started to wonder if it was a contact to the head.

And as a ref, you do have to make an immediate call on the ice. You just hope it's the right one. I think if I were in that position, I would've said 2 minutes, but as you said, when Hendrickson grabbed his face......

He looked shaken, and the trainer was talking to him on the bench afterwards. It was a vicious clean hit, I'm sure he was not feeling too good for a bit.
