NCAA East Regional Final -- #3 UNH vs #4 RIT

Re: NCAA East Regional Final -- #3 UNH vs #4 RIT

I think they can do it. RIT calms down between periods, (they celebrated pretty good after that last goal)UNH gets an early one and who knows? They hide the water from whistling Dick and they play loose when his incessant tweeting dries up.

actually I am just hoping this doesn't become a 7-2 loss. Really.

Maybe, just maybe the RIT squad is better than UNH. Anyhow, I think the UNH kids need to get much more physical to get back into this game...Seems like lots of d-zone spectatorship by UNH.

They're definitely the better squad tonight.

I have never cared for Melrose, the announcer, not the city, but he was exactly right in saying the UNH defense let the RIT players cruise unfettered in the UNH zone. I haven't seen anyone indicting Foster, and I hope I don't, but while he may not be playing great, he is getting no help.
UNH may not be out of this one, but the fact that the power play absolutely s ucks out loud has not helped them this year. What is the big mystery about developing a effective power play?
They played well last night, and if the season had ended then it would have ended on a high note. But this impending loss after handing RIT three goals is an embarrassment, with all due respect to the RIT program, of course.

I agree with Hanasis. Not giving up just yet, but they need to bring the kitchen sink NOW-NOW-NOW...
