I have never cared for Melrose, the announcer, not the city, but he was exactly right in saying the UNH defense let the RIT players cruise unfettered in the UNH zone. I haven't seen anyone indicting Foster, and I hope I don't, but while he may not be playing great, he is getting no help.
UNH may not be out of this one, but the fact that the power play absolutely s ucks out loud has not helped them this year. What is the big mystery about developing a effective power play?
They played well last night, and if the season had ended then it would have ended on a high note. But this impending loss after handing RIT three goals is an embarrassment, with all due respect to the RIT program, of course.
